Luxman M-2000 what to do ?

I got a Luxman M-2000 amp, and it is missing the left output transistors board, the whole board, the right board still there

Is there any way to design a replacement board with modern transistors ?

Maybe with the LM-3886 chip ?

Its a Luxman, quite old but the best plan will still be to restore it with original or at least near equivalent semis such that you don't wind up with lopsided audio. There is another channel to copy so it should be possible, so long as you can get the necessary TO3 semis. You could probably use use some hands-on assistance with making a replacement PCB though.
 
Honeybadger and many other boards discussed here are rather long - too long I think to replace those ones that are divided into what seem to be 3 narrow boards. It looks like a unique style of compressed assembly to me - should be easier to repair than replace.
 
Each module of the obsolete hybrid STK type and also most chipamps, is virtually a complete power amplifier - sometimes even a stereo pair, from signal input to power output if you wish, so you would be virtually scrapping the Luxman amplifier by removing most of what's inside the case and likely replacing the massive power transformer with a smaller type that suits the much lower rated power of the modules. Perhaps they could be arranged in bridged mode for more power but that's another matter and already you have enough to be consider.

Unless you are determined to build something useful from that box and say, a pair of kit amplifier boards that fit the space or you want a truckload of power, I'd buy something smaller and simpler that is still going to sound great - as good as you may expect from among the the best chipamps and commercial products and you still get to assemble if you wish, without great drama.
