Does anyone have any experience with custom and DIY deck savers? Interested in hearing about all the different approaches that can be used
I am thinking of 3D printing the sides and adding a perspex top to each with a layer of car window tint to darken out all the LEDs

Something to do with a TT? (my thot was it has something to do with a deck.) Still not clear what the term means. A dustcover?

Indeed, just a pretty contoured dust cover for things like mixers and synths, termed after the clear covers over turntable decks. Decksaver is actually the name of a company that makes them, but they don't have options for my gear except the Akai FIRE. After what it took to clean out the areas between the knobs and faders of the MG10XU mixer, I am scared of unpacking all the new gear until I can take care of this requirement
Been reading up on this. I think I can bend the perspex for a front and back lip and fit wooden sides with a step routed in. Or even 3D printed sides. Also, FreeCAD keeps crashing. I think I might need to look into a paid Cad software. I have a CNC for intricate routing and a laser for cutting these, but doing it on Window 10 seems impossible with free software at the moment
