Alumapro Alchemy/Focal P30F

I have an opportunity to purchase two Alumapro Alchemy 10's for roughly the same cost as a single Focal P30F. Neither are local to me so an audition is out. The Alchemy's are new old stock and the P30F is new second hand. I know sound is subjective, I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are.

I have used both Alchemy 10's and 12's and they are some of my absolute favorite subs that you can buy. Not loud, but very musical. The Alchemies use ferrofluid between the pole and the voice coil former. I haven't heard the focal, though, so I can't compare directly.

I have heard the Alchemy's years ago when I was a teen and had a completely different expectation of subwoofers and was unimpressed. Now as an older man I am wanting sound quality not rattle the city block and turn heads. I know Focal is known for SQ but I know Alumapro is also very well thought of. I am leaning towards the Alumapro 10's.

Hmm, looks like they've 'folded their tent' driver manufacturing wise, deleting all docs, so can't even comment from a purely technical POV. 🙁 Re the Focal, with a relatively high 2.7 mH inductance and no impedance plot can only say 'caveat emptor' applies for any subwoofer if used above its mass corner = 2*28/ 0.47 = ~120 Hz.

I found this on another Forum using Google search. The subs im looking at are 4 Ohm single voice coil not sure if that changes anything.

Searched further, but all I found were very old 'for sale' adds or old mobile audio threads. Regardless, none of the specs published or measured listed inductance, so include them in my Focal's caution and if used higher, curious how any of these sound/blend with the mains.
