YD7120 Mosfet Driver

Feedback, it does work. But as a note on this repair.

This particular amplifier was a 4 channel, it was in protect. I have repaired many Timpano amps, as they are clones, or probably from the same build house, as Stetsom and Taramps.

I did have a 4 channel Stetsom in the shop, and was identical to the Timpano, but used Irs2092s. so I was comfortable with trying the 2092 as replacement.

It appeared as though it was a case of shorted outputs, on channel 3, but turned out to be shorted diode on the speaker side on the output. Esd3, to be exact. I thought it was a bad driver IC , at one point, but after replacing it, I was humbled,

I bought an amplifier from AliExpress that uses the same chip (yd7120). But few minutes after testing the amp and connecting it to a preamp some smoke started coming from some resistors. Wondering if the yd7120 is faulty or may be something else like the MOSFETs. What could be faulty if the resistors before MOSFETs always catch fire on every replacement 🙁
