Hi guys,
I need to replace the output transistors of Musical fidelity, which are mj15003/4
For test I tried with 2SC5200/2SA1943 and it works fine, but still, what is the right replacement when mj15003/4 is almost impossible to find originals?
Regards!

The information I found is that they have been discontinued and everything on the market at the moment are fake's
Do you mind which manufacturer of MJ15003/4's ? Multicomp one's and some onsemi seem to be available
Information you found where? They are not discontinued. There are millions available from all my suppliers.
Fake semiconductors are a real thing.
Then again, there is always the internet "experts" that call everything fake.
As mentioned 15003/004
still in production, one of my favorites
maybe depends on area / region easily available from reputable manufactures
On Semi being most Common. Which usually has higher price.
Likely Central Semiconductor since they still produce older military
grade semiconductors
As with so called " fakes" it is usually incredibly obvious since they offer
at amazing low price.
Then again I have multiple surplus warehouses I buy from with
older stock or vintage transistors and the prices are extremely fair
There was hundreds of T03's not available anymore.
But the actual ones that mattered are still around.
Since hundreds of industrial equipment and aircraft will always
need replacements.

Mouser for France is to be avoided, I don't know for other European countries.
Farnell, pay attention to the REAL availability of products.

On several occasions (when ordering from Mouser.fr) I found myself with customs fees much higher than the amount of the order when I ordered in France and when I wanted to contact Mouser France to ask for explanations , it was almost impossible to reach them and finally their answer was "it's not our problem, see that with Mouser US"...
When at Farnell, it is not always CLEAR when REAL stock is available, twice, I found myself with several months of waiting when a quantity was available on their stock, but in reality, it is a VIRTUAL stock with a replenishment date.
Never had a problem with digikey or conrad in 25 years of ordering.
