I'd like to know as well regarding the BG 48. From what I understand, the BG-48 and BG48-G were made for 2 different applications. The G was for the Genesis line of speakers. I have a buzz in one of the drivers and hoping someone could provide a repair/replacement. I did watch the disassembly of the smaller NEO driver on youtube and assume that the membrane is stretched/attached to 1/2 of the stamped housing while the other is removable. Servicing any magnets on the attached membrane side is not going to happen without destroying it.
Are there any members who could disassemble and replicate the diaphragm?

There is a guy on the carver web site who is rebuilding the 48' and up ribbons. His name is Ed and goes by (Sea). Please join the site to contact him for rebuilds.
