Those figures seem quite surprising. Not so much because they show that vinyl sales are growing, but because the dollars for vinyl well exceed the digital formats taken together, and not by a little. I can’t imagines this is due to the retro cache, or hipster demand for vinyl. Especially in the face of the digital audio format advantage of use convenience. Which would then point to, what, sound quality? I’m uncertain of what to make of the presented figures, and their trends.
Restoring my lab 500 along with custom tuned preamp for AT vm95 and shure vm15 type 2 carts was a good one.
