Hi everyone, I bought this nichicon ka capacitor, I see this capacitor has a curved shape like the picture, and capacitors from reputable websites have straight legs, do I have to buy fake capacitors or are the curved legs? Really made to order
I dunno about that. Mouser and Digikey show straight leads on their search results and so does the KA datasheet and so does the KA I bought from Mouser.
In datasheet of every capacitor, writes that additional letter/numbers are added to the end of the mfn number, which tell you how leads are formed/cut. These look legit, but if it's not from a reputable source, theres no telling. I usually get cut leads when i find it in stock, much easier to solder when you don't have many little "antenae" 😁
1. These are KT 100uf 25v in the photo. On Nichicon's website, there is no such value for KT

2. On KA datasheet, there is no lead type other than straight and there is no part number for kinked lead type, only pitch

I was wrong in my earlier post about KT not existing in that value. It does exist, and the website linked was not Nichicon's website; rather a domain squatter.
The KAs I bought, are all labelled with e.g. 220µF 50V.
"µF" as well as "V" is printed on the product, as you can see also on the pictures from Nichicon.
The picture you provided shows a complete different labelling.
By the way, all other electrolytic capacitors from Nichicon, KW, FG, USG, etc. have "µF" and "V" printed on their surface.
I am find this just curious....
