Once with Jackson Browne at the Main Point outside Philadelphia the siren went off at the fire station across the street, he playe his electric fiddle with/against the siren.
It was broadcast on WMMR, so it's on youtube. Eexcelllent times.

Yes. First learned of him through Jackson Browne as maybe boswald did. DL was an underrated musician IMO.
I remember best him playing on Browne's and Cooder's records. But like always, live videos are the best
