Hi,
I looking to get 8” mids to pair them with 15PR400 woofers and HF10AK compression drivers. I wonder how would Beyma 8M70v2 or FaitalPro 8PR155 fit.
Do you have any experience with those mids?
Thanks,

No clue, but historically, factories try to 'voice' their products to blend well, so if the 8PR155 meets the performance needs of the app, then seems the obvious choice IME, though now so many decades away I can only hope this is still true, so personally would ask them.

Do you have a DSP? i have both hf10ak and 8pr155. I've been prototyping a system with them many years. Both measure kind of mediocre but its no problem to straighten it up with DSP. I would not choose them in a passive speaker, if there is smoother alternatives available. Both have bumpy response around 1-2kHz, where the crossover likely is.
That said I think they sound fine and I hae no need to switch to other drivers currently. I have no idea if something else sounds better. I've got 8pe21 but never tried it since the 8pr155 sounds fine enough.
If you doubt what is better I suggest buying both and compare side by side, best way to find out is to listen. Just remember either one can sound better if the frequency responses and levels are not matched very closely, within 1db or better. With passive xo speaker tgis means that anything that has nicer response without any crossover will win. With DSP one can tailor the response to be very close, which minimizes audible differences.
Thanks for all replies. At the moment i have 15PR400s and HF10AKs at hand. Now i'm looking for mids and would like to use passive XO for mids and highs and DSP for lows.
I think i'll get both and report here.
Also looking to get 18HP1030, 10PR410 and HF108R for another build. Any suggestions here?
