Thanks. I've had these for a while and don't remember where I got them from. I dug them out because I was replacing some old CTS tweeters with a pair of new Phenolic ring paper cone tweeters from PE. Big disappointment. I then used the horns and what a huge improvement. I need to tweak the x-overs some but for now they are very enjoyable paired with some old OHM 10" woofers with alnico magnets
If you're intending to build a pair of stereo speakers, please make sure you can separate the compression drivers from the horns and get an identical second one of either 8 or 16 Ω impedance.

Small horns seemed to be much more popular in the 1960's and 70's, wondering why they went out of favor?

Maybe because output power has become much cheaper since then? Hence, there's not that demand for efficient speakers anymore?
