I'm retiring (for the second time) on May 12th. I'll have time on my hands to build more speakers and other equipment, so I'm kicking around the idea of building the ACA Redux. Would this be a good match for a MA A10-2, MA A7.3, MA CHP-70, MA CHR 70?As far as the CHP-70 and CHR-70, I have more than one pair, so I wouldn't mind putting two in an enclosure. Maybe a set of microTowers?
Thanks,
Mike

As long as you don't expect earth shaking sound levels, they can work quite fine. I have a Mofo with Alpair 10.3 which sounds quite pleasant...
Any of the above, but you may want to build an enclosure that has room to adjustthe dampint for the higher output impedanceof the ACA.
If the lot you have i personally prefer A7.3

To gain extra SPL you have to deal with combing. So something like a microTower Castle where the 2nd driver is physically placed to reduce combing.
If loudness is more important than cohesiveness then a pair in paralell.
But you may find the ACA is not lacking as much power as you might guess. My first ACA experience was with the 5W first gen. They sat in my system driving the big A12pw MTMS for months before i wne back to the SIT-3.
