I am just curios. These are not the current source supplies? And, where are the diodes mounted? At the bottom o the PCB? With 2,5A these will become hot as well (if standard diodes are used...)
Thanks! Erik
Thanks! Erik
Appear to be the current source sans diodes. So off board rectification and optional smoothing can be done.
Hi Bas! On the print connector there is the text AC in, and there seems to be place for the diodes, I think they are mounted on the other side, which makes sense as to keep the heat further away from the caps.
I assumed they were the CCS boards, but when I looked for a 2nd time I did not see the OPAMP and additional circuit, so I think there are "ordinary" voltage source supplies. Or this supporting circuitry is also mounted on the other side of the PCB.
Whenever you are around Switzerland, you are very welcome!

Thanks Erik. You are also welcome to visit when in the Netherlands. I'm guessing these are some of the latest filament supplies with the circuitry underneath. Because the heater supplies look very different. And the OP would know the difference for sure!
Information can be found at the Tentlabs website.

Thanks Bas! Looks way more complex than the previous versions. Probably active rectifiers as well, as I can't imagine these little components handling 2.5A otherwise. Interesting!
