Hello,
DBX made a part error on their VENU 360- they used ceramic caps for the low-pass filter on the outputs... as discussed in another forum (ASR), its best to replace these.
So, wondering if anyone here knows if these here in the link below are the right type of cap for this application?
(I have no schematic... just assuming by the value and placement on board that these are used in the low pass filter of the D/A portion...)

Their rated dissipation factor of 0.8% at 1kHz is rather high.

Ok, but is this PEN capacitor that I linked good for audio filtering is my question? There is nothing wrong with class 1 ceramic capacitors, only with class 2 (and 3).
Rayma, is that good or bad? Should I get a lower dissipation cap?Their rated dissipation factor of 0.8% at 1kHz is rather high.

The better film capacitors have much lower distortion.
But they may not mechanically fit. Some examples:

It depends on your particular application whether you'll need lower dissipation (aka ESR). The ESR shown varies with frequency, simulation of your schematic would reveal whether you'll have an issue with Q factor in your filter. Given that these particular caps you've linked to are 1206 there is no reason at all not to use an NP0 ceramic if the ESR is an issue. I just measured a 15nF NP0 and got a figure of 0.2ohm @10kHz, this compares to ~7ohm for the 15nF you linked.
