Amplifier PIONEER S656 MKII.
The sound is good trebles are ok....
But on this Amplifier the basses are very poor even with enabled loudness.
Can you adjust bass level on tone board with caps or any other parts.

If the amp has several years from manufactured, perhaps 'lytics has gone. Thus bass frequencies that requieres larger capacitances are those who suffer first from them. Unless the issue was from new too, in case of the set has a poor design.
Most confuse clearness ("blackness") and "bass".Hello.

This circuit prevents clearness, "blackness" - too complex, complementary transistors and so on.
These parts prevent cleanness, "blackness": e. g. 2SC3281, 2SA1302.
It is and remains a rushing, gray, flat, tired undertaking.
No chance to get "enough bass".
