Is there not a point at which a sealed box can become SO large that its effects on a driver become negligible?
At such point, the driver would have so much space, that it (more/less) behaves the same it would essentially in free-air, no?

It varies from 4 - 10x Vas depending on Qts IIRC, but my chart is buried in two damaged HDs, so easiest just to use HR's Loudspeaker Wizard to 'slide' your way to the smallest practical.

Reminds me . . . The box room in my old apartment was tiny - about 12,000 litres. For a while a 2 x 18 sub was stored in there (never used). We joked: at which point does the bedroom become the cabinet and open door (and hallway) become the port?
