Can anybody ID these tweeters?

Hi all, can anybody ID this tweeter which is one of two that came out of a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 2 speakers? I don't think it is the original tweeter which was a 20mm Audax plastic dome. It looks similar and is the same size but the back is different from images of originals that I have seen. The small print on the back at bottom reads K63TNM. If this is the part number I am not having any luck finding it on the internet. The red writing is the measured resistance across the terminals and they both measure about the same. The mounting disc is obviously cracking apart on both and will have to be replaced if I reuse these units. Any help greatly appreciated. Glenn

Evidently some variety of balanced drive mylar tweeter, as the guys say. Visaton make them too.

The Wharfedale 3 dome tweeter was a goodish in-house Wharfedale driver as it goes. Looks like third order tweeter with, say, a second 3.3uF.

Probably anything around 90dB and 8 ohms will work. But you don't have much room there if the grille is still to fit, so 74mm or less I suppose. The cutout can be filed bigger.

I wouldn't throw too many Australian Dollars at this.

Simple crossover. 450uF series bass adjustment, a well known technique to make bass more present in a tiny box. No bass coil.

Second order tweeter, positive polarity. Probably 2.2R level adjust and 2.2uF series capacitor, 0.2mH shunt inductor.

I think I used to have the Wharfedale Diamond 1, on the left. Quite pleasant.

I believe the original used a formerless VC, which made them agile little super tweeters above 7-8k. So pleasant and underrated. Suprisingly resolving too.

Most of the clones I ran into weren't that good and neither worth the savings in cost.

I fitted these into an old Sony boom box, mounted to look like they belonged there and crossed with a 1uf film caps. Perfect combined with 5 - 6 inch FR drivers.
