Pioneer 30-789A speakers

Well, the service manual https://archive.org/details/manual_CS907_SM_PIONEER_EN/page/n9/mode/2up confirms the part number, however googling it results in this thread and exactly one other site, which claims to sell them for $200+. The service manual also mentions that that part was not very available even at the time (it is marked with a double asterisk which is said to be a 'fast moving part').

IMO you can either spend some time and money trying to reverse-engineer the original specs (do you have a single working model you could measure the TS parameters from?), or just buy the cheapest driver that fills the hole and matches the few specs we know (8 ohms, 50+ watt RMS, 12 inch, plays up to 2khz), and get whatever you get.
