What are the best options for handles that don’t need sunk into the cabinet ? Handles I can just add on?
It’s around 22x23x21” or so .
It’s gotten too heavy to carry without handles.

How do you bolt them in by taking the sub apart to screw handles on with special screws ?
Will screw onn handles fall off ?

If you can gain sufficient access to the interior of the enclosure by removing the driver, then best to secure the handles by using an appropriate number of bolts, internal washers and locking nuts.
Wood screws could work loose if you move the sub around frequently, but may suffice for occasional, domestic use. Employ long screws to ensure maximum grip.

Ouch I could consider that I don’t really understand what type of screws /bolts those are.. wish I built a smaller box but it’s too expensive a pain to rebuild the sub for a 3 cut foot box . It’s such a pain to carry it … hurts my back like hell. Can’t do much but move/slide it around upstairs .
Yeah our dolly is at my sisters house , it doesn’t have a big enough platform to fit my sub on. Yeah i Don’t think I can add handles until I understand which types of nuts and bolts to use , I may have too see if I even got the tools to take out the sub driver and plate amplifier first .
I wish screw in handles could be bolts in from the outside only but that’s impossible.
All this work wish I had the skills to make a smaller sub box so I could carry the damn thing . A freind helped me build the original and he’s never free.
I may be able to carry it if I remove the driver / 28 pounds or so it weighs. Dvc stereo integrity ht 15” duel voice coils make it 8-10 pounds heavier then a single . Our Electric drill won’t hold a charge ..

Here's a possible solution - a carrying strap with a handle.

If it's long enough! 😉
