Hi,
as of today it is not possible to reply directly to a post; it's possible to quote, but since not all users allow it (it's obviously possible to disallow citing), it might be tedious to put some answers in context. Quoting was automatic with the reply function.
Cheers

The reply function did nothing but quote. That has not changed, only the name on the button has changed.
That is not the case. All we have done is remove the quote button from the last post in a thread.(it's obviously possible to disallow citing)
Ohh, that's it, I missed that. All we have done is remove the quote button from the last post in a thread.
Many thanks, "issue" solved.
Earlier today after this change was launched, it was impossible to use the "select to quote" feature on the last post.
The "select to quote feature" works by when you select any text in a post, a popup saying "quote" appears under the cursor. This is the easier way to selectively and judiciously quote any text you would like from a post.
This has now been fixed, and you can readily "select to quote" the last post.
