I need to equip a new shop with a full inventory of resistors. I want metal films (Yaegos would be just fine). Is there any trustworthy place selling an "E24 assortment" or similar? I want to span 1 Ohm to 1 Meg. Thanks.

True, but then I have to shop for seven decades of E24 values - that's 168 line items to order. I'd MUCH rather find one line item that does the job, if you follow me.

Gets you started. There should be others for higher resistance ranges.
Change the 2 to 1 or 3 or 4 or even 5 to get the rest of what you probably need.

Oh, so close! Thanks Simon but I shoulda mentioned I need half watt. Those assortments would work except for that.
What d'ya need 1/2 watt for? Most of my circuits easily get by with 1/6 watt Yageos and they work just fine.
Newark.com regularly sells very good to excellent grade resistors at ridiculously low prices (e.g., https://www.newark.com/vishay/sfr2500006810fr500/metal-film-resistor-681-ohm-400mw/dp/94C5211) so, if you have the time to spare, select what you need and make up your own kit?
