I used to know a really nice gentleman who died aged 102. He used to read the obits in the Daily Telegraph and was always reading about people he was at school with or in the RAF.
Often wondered what it was like to see your past gradually dismantled that way and to be, effectively, among the last of your entire generation. To put it in perspective, he went to school with David Niven...
Just beginning to find out, this last year has been particularly bad.
Oh well! The guitarist and singer for Bachman-Turner Overdrive is Randy Bachman and still alive!
