Markaudio MS vs MAOP

I'm wonder about buying a pair of either MAOP 7.2 or MAOP 11.2 or 11MS.
I've had the Pluvia 7.2 HD which I didn't particularily like (needed quite a bit of BSC and sounded off).
I'm running pair of 7MS today that I'm very happy with but they need some correction in the 2-4 KHz area which they are a little bit hot, and I'd like a little more SPL capability in the bass (hence looking at the 11.2 and 11MS).

Does anyone have experiences with these drivers and can tell me a little bit about how they compare?

Hello Norway, Sweden here.
I have Alpair 11MS, Maop10.2 and CHP-90.
My feeling is that 11MS has the strongest bass. Closely followed by Maop10.2.
Maybe the Alpair CHR-120 has more bass. Never heard them though.
Since you like 7MS, you might think 11MS is best based on the same concept. Simple suspension.
Maop11 is good. If you don't think they are too expensive.
Know someone who has chosen 2 Alpair CHR-120 in the same box and is satisfied.

I have not heard MAOP 11.
But it is tempting to choose the MAOP 11 because it is slightly larger. SD is 23% larger. Fs on MAOP 10 is on my pairs 43hz.
When I read on MAOP 11 it also says Fs 43hz.
I am satisfied with the MAOP 10. The sound feels homogeneous. Plenty of detail and nothing that gets in the way. Perfect to play straight away.
From what I've heard, MAOP 11 seems to have the same capability.
Maybe MAOP 10.2 have a smoother frequency curve.

Perhaps consider getting the best all all possible Alpair worlds with a 7 MAOP and some 12pw to fill in the lower end. Freeing the 7 from bass duties snaps the midrange into even clearer focus. The 12pw is the best MA driver for bass. Win-win.

I suggest this because I have done it and am very happy with the result.

I have not heard either of those MAOPs, but i have heard Pluvia 11 and Alpair10/10.2/10.3. Given the M10 is based on Alpair and M11 based on P11, i would choose (if i did not have the opportunity to hear both) the Alpair, in standard guise, is definitly better than the Pluvia.

Yeah, the colour palette on those worked out lovely; much prettier aesthetics to my eye than the MTMs, but I preferred the sonics of the latter.
And yeah, I know the coffee table is horrible for the acoustics, but WAF and all that …😒

Interesting, thanks for that. Did you use an equalizer proper to make the adjustments, or were you manipulating the cabinet in some way? Sorry if that's a silly question, I'm new to this, not sure how people usually make those adjustments.
