Offset Open U - Baffle question

If I were to consider an offset driver in an open baffle (u - baffle) , which makes more sense ?
1. Offset driver in main baffle with equal sized wings
2. driver in the center of the baffle with dissimilar wings
3. Offset driver + dissimilar wings

I'm mostly interested in 1 or 2
