I picked up this no name pair of speakers from my friend who didn't want them. Woofers are around 3 inch, it is heavy for their size, i can't find any identification on the drivers or the speaker box. Any idea what these are? Speaker boxes are are like quartz enamel coated. Sounds pretty good too.

If you picked these up, then it would be only logical to take the units out for inspection, and then someone might help you further.
They look like Eastech drivers. I'd just retrofit them with something cheap but better like Peerless or SB acoustics. Alot of times the dimensions will be close enough to use something straight off the shelf.
How good are eastech drivers? Any idea...? The sounds pretty good for their size. I can see the woofer is made of thick material instead of stamped steel.
