I happened across this web site it has some good information including a copy of Patrick Turners site. A zip download of lots of Gary Pimm's DIY site is also included.

That's cool the info is being cared about, but is there any reason archive.org doesn't have that? I think a much more effective way is to donate to them, vs. hoping random (though motivated and well intentioned) individuals archive data. They are a legit non-profit company dedicated to the preservation of media and internet sites.
Agree with the above, but flagging up the sites that disappear might be a nice idea.
I was looking for '100 Great Amplifiers' at Lilienthal Engineering today, and that appeared not to be hosted anymore. Hopefully temporary.

Wayback machine is very slow and not very convenient to use.
PS. I have a copy of electra-print.com web site (offline for a while), but so far have been unable to get permission from the Jack Eliano to upload a copy (may be he was in bad mood). If someone know him personally it would be nice to convince Mr Eliano to grant a permission.

That seems likely. His abrasive style certainly turned away many of my customers. I eventually stopped recommending his services. As did others.(may be he was in bad mood).
His website is on Archive.org, though: https://web.archive.org/web/20220214164848/https://www.electra-print.com/

Maybe. But the chance of the data being here in 100 years far outweighs some individual's site with ads. Basically selling someone else's work at that... and here's a thought, don't upload it, it's not yours.Wayback machine is very slow and not very convenient to use.
