Looks like it would be decent to use as a subwoofer.
Have a price for the driver?
The 1000W rating may seem low compared to others but it may be more honest. Some datasheets can inflate power handling numbers a bit.
Might be worth using the formula SD*Xmax/price to compare it to other drivers.

I guess, but i was looking at something even bigger than the current 21" trend, the more area gives you more air to move with a single driver.PD.1845 is a nice sounding driver.
True but 2 x PD1845 will move as much air, similar SPL per Watt and has more power handling for less money. Admittedly doesn't have the visual wow factor though.
