For Sale Celestion SL600 Loudspeakers

We are selling this pair of Celestial SL600 loudspeakers on behalf of a customer.

They are in only fairly good condition with scuffs and marks on the suede 'Nextel' painted Aerolam cabinets - they were notoriously difficult to keep clean!

A legendary loudspeaker in many respects and we have tested them to be in good working order and sounding remarkably good for their age. Please note that upgrades were done to the crossovers and they now only accept bi-wire or bi-amp inputs as there are no removable external crossover links.

They come with their original user guide and frequency response plots for both speakers - they are consecutive serial numbers - 261565/6 - so are a matched pair. Documentation supports the upgrade work carried out in late 1985. There is also a reprint of a 1983 review from Hi-Fi for Pleasure.

This seller joined this week.
The only thread response, quoted below, is non specific to what they are selling. These are classic scam signs.
"Yes it is very good condition for payment you can pay by paypal buyer protection I will ship it to you after paying"

I'd cancel that first payment immediately.

Luckily Paypal protection is in place. I have contacted them and informed them that I see an issue with this transaction. Paypal informed me that the seller email is registered in New Zealand, which is interesting as this item is in Georgia apparently.
One of the other posts from this seller suggests he is in California, this is very shady, and I am encouraging the seller to explain this discrepancy.

I have now filed a dispute with Paypal and encourage the seller to send tracking information (as Nietzsche opined: Hope is the enemy of man, as it prolongs the suffering).
