External components needed for new dc-dc converter

In the past, I have built my preamps using +/- 15v rails coming from a CUI PQP3-D12-D15-D dc-dc converter, fed by a suitably large 12v linear supply. I use the recommended external components for ripple reduction and EM emissions. It's sufficiently quiet, and has worked well for me.

However, I have a new project where I will be using a lot of components, some of which are power-hungry. So I need more juice.

I know it's expensive, but I was looking at a Mean Well DKE10A-15 dc-dc converter. However, the datasheet includes absolutely no reference to external components. It does say that EMC circuitry is built-in, and that it has a 60mV ripple max. But there's no equivalent circuit diagram, either.

So is this a truly "black box" solution? I just need the converter device and no other components? Or should I still bypass it with electrolytics and such? What about a ceramic cap from -v in to gnd out? Again, this may be included already but I have no way of knowing.

I mean, the device I was referencing is supposedly FCC part 15 class a compliant, and the datasheet says "built in EMI filter". But it doesn't say anything about what that filter may be, or really what is included on the chip. Which makes me wonder whether any external components are needed at all. I can't imagine a converter not needing electrolytics after it at least, but I could be wrong.

All of their ~10,000 products are self-contained, so just use within the electrical specs.
Some of them specify the output noise with a certain amount of external load capacitance, like 10uF.
Thanks! That's kind of what I was thinking. Probably wouldn't hurt if I add a couple of electrolytics afterwards (to ground) then? I tend to have some 100uF's laying around.

I would add them closer to the circuit being powered. Should have low ESR.
Personally I use a further noise filter after the converter as well.
But here is the horse's mouth, and he will answer any questions you might have.
He has actual technical knowledge of the Meanwell products, a rarity these days.
