Siemens F2A34 pentodes

Hello.

I found two tubes: Siemens F2a34.
This tube has octal base.

I'm a little confused how to test this tube.

I have Tesla BM215A and Funke W19 tube tester.

I found that these tubes are a quite rare.

I can not find a datasheet for this tubes - just for F2a and F2a11.
Any advice?

Some talk in Japanese and Thai about it. Appears to be an F2a or F2a11 with octal base, otherwise the same.

On the data sheets for F2a and F2a11 they look to be the same except for 1pF less capacitance Ca in the F2a11.

One Japanese page claims:
"It is the last one in the F2a series. Based on the US octal base, I was told that the number of production was 300. At the time of acquisition, there were many troubled items, and the remaining actual number exceeded 100."

If it's true you have a collector's item , worth a bit of coin to someone. If true , you could probably sell it and use the money to buy a more than one regular F2a. On the other hand, the poster is selling tubes so might be less inclined to skepticism.

For what I know the F2a34's pinout indeed is identical to the EL34's. Anyway, you have your tubes in front of you. A close look at them may disclose which part of th internal structure is connected to which pin.

This actually was the only way for me as a kid to write down tube pinouts before I detected tube data books 😉 .

Best regards!
