Resonato....?

About six months ago I applied for a job at this company on a lark. (I had no intention of going back to work at the time because my health status was very poor.) It's close to my house, and right up my alley. I was upfront about my health status and disabilities. The result?

They got right back to me within a half hour. They were very interested. I emailed them back and said I had to go through a whole lot of stuff before I could go back to work, but that is what I intended to do. They said OK.

So I'm finally having surgery on Monday Dec 5. I am thinking of going back to work after I rehab. One of my former employers wants me back too, warts and all.

So my question is, does anyone know anything about this company? I don't think I have a lot to lose at this point. I just want to know if it's worth my while. Thanks.

I would just go for it.
You soon find out after starting if the job is right for you or not.

My first job in electronics had a bad boss.
Quick to abuse people.
I was given some r&d work to do which I completed well.
Then he gave that job to someone else who had just started because he favoured them.
The person after trying said the job was beyond their skills so I was asked to do it again !
Then a new engineer started and I was relegated to testing again.
So I walked out.
Had a knock at the door next day from the businesses accountant.
They wanted me back as I was the only one who could write software for a new project.
So I agreed to go back.
Things were ok for a few months but then the old trick of bringing in other people to do my job reared its ugly head again.
So I left for another job.
The previous company went bust within a couple of months.
What goes around, comes around.

I'm home and recouping. Weak, sore, tired. Can't hardly eat.

The worst is behind me. I still have to restart my bowels and then I will force myself to eat a meal. I've choked down a few bites and I burp. Even Ensure is hard to choke down. I don't want to get too weak. Meds make me drowsy and terribly constipated. Surgery makes me constipated too because they had to stuff my upper intestine back into my belly.

Doctors are very positive about my prospects for a full recovery.
