Diatone had some hits, i would say that is not one of them. They ar eWAY overpriced.

Hmm. No expert I on the history of Mitsubushi & their Diatone brand, but I don't recall running across this model before, and a quick search via Google essentially just lists eBay adverts. I'm not saying it's dodgy -as I say, I'm not all that up on the brand' but sans any kind of useful information at all, I'd pass. Plenty of good small drivers out there for not much money, with more information available, and from regular dealers, making warrenty / returns etc. easier in the event of an issue.
I have run across vintage Diatone sorta simialr, but the second magnet, for CRT protection, is something that didn’t really happen till Diatone was already a thing of the past.
This, i suspect, is a new production driver with a Diatone label.
For instance if one looks, the Diatone 810 can be found in the form of a number of clones.One of the historically lauded drivers that has been surpassed by modern drivers.
