AUDIOMOBILE SA-1000 Power transistor T0-3 type #0602016 8101 blown and seek a replacement(s)

Greetings I own a 45 year old amp, AUDIOMOBILE SA-1000. Power transistor blown. Its a T0-3 type, "S" brand "SOLITRON" I think

Numbers on it are 0602016 8101

I cant find anything online, Uggggggg any help will be much appreciated, need new ones as well as some advice in regards to these blowing. My 45 year old amps are all working fine BUT this particular one. It ran hard for a while in my other car, but after it thermal shut down I pulled it but I think i hurt it. Been blowing output transistors (2) so far and now.... Power source is dead. This poor amp. LOL....

I just bought a couple more SA-1000's so I will have spares to blow up soon. Would like to get this one fixed.

Any help, THANKS!!!

Why not try the TO-3 PS FETs that Linear power used if they're bipolar transistors.

Remove a good one and measure the forward voltage of the B-E junction on diode-check.
Yes, a substitute may be in order as I am not finding anything spec related online. Damn. Power transistor made my LIGHT come on BRIGHT.... Thanks for that idea. One I think is OK and one is surely shorted. 45 year old caps and transistors. Uggggggg

Hi Perry, Happy Holidays to you. I suffered a fall and broke my back pretty bad... pain but I will live. I measured the "good' transistor at 557 reading on the diode check meter setting. No shorts on this one, the other one has an obvious short/BAD. Just went POOF!. I ordered REPLACEMENTS, on their way in the mail. Wondering if the power supply capacitors should be suspect for replacement simply for proper operation. Hmmmmm.... I check them with the capacitor checker meter and they read good. Good quality ELNA brand BUT they 48 years young so..... My aching back. LOL. Hope you are having a Happy Holidays time bud. Keep ya posted...
