I need waterfall and others. Better from the box. Mid driver plans for active 3way. SB17NBAC35-4 not so good sensetivity but looks good oweral from what i saw in the internet and cheaper...
What will these 3-ways be used for? I assume you need some healthy spl from them since you posted in the PA forum. Also need to know what crossover points/slopes you'll be using.
The SB will not cut it for high spl use. I've tried.

Idea is copy of Troels Gravesen faital 3wc-10 or 12 but only fully active. Plans to use t.racks DSP 206,208 for this. I'm looking at other driver options as well because 6RS140 not easy to find for normal price. The ciare NDK 6-1.5 looks like alternative from Germany and available for smaller price. Room size only 16m2.What will these 3-ways be used for? I assume you need some healthy spl from them since you posted in the PA forum. Also need to know what crossover points/slopes you'll be using.

In that case I would go for the SB. Excellent driver for home use. Nice low distortion, well behaved cone within its intended frequency range. Good amount of copper in the motor.
I recently bought a t.racks DSP FIR 408. Nice piece of kit. The FIR crossovers are easy to implement and sound great.

DSP FIR 408 nosy? Cooling fan runs all the time or only when it overheats? For this reason, I am looking at the DBX DriveRack PA2. I don't think it's such a good buy though for the money, but fanless model is better. In that case I would go for the SB. Excellent driver for home use. Hi, do you design FIR filter in rephase? In that case I would go for the SB. Excellent driver for home use. Nice low distortion, well behaved cone within its intended frequency range. Good amount of copper in the motor.

It seems the t.racks DSP FIR 408 is using 96kHz sampling rate? The phase response in their control utility is completely unreadable.
How do you design under this situation?
Thanks!
The FIR section isn't very customizable. It's just icing on the cake for an affordable outboard dsp. I use it for an overkill bass amp or small mono PA.
Mini-dsp is probably the best bet for affordable flexibility. Used open architecture dsp units for prosound applications is a good option as well.
