Hi, What do you think of the TDA1514a regarding audio quality? Is it lower or higher than LM3886/TDA7294?
Thanks
Thanks

It is more correct to compare with TDA2050 ...

Why? Speaking of audio quality I think I can also compare a Mark Levinson with a TDA2003 !! Anyway thanks
The real TDA2050 is a very good chip, fully comparable to 1514 (especially at 4 ohms))).
Quality depends not only on the chip, but also on the implementation - the circuit, the printed circuit board, the power supply, the wiring...

TDA1514A is an interesting chip as it sounds quite good.
As described in another thread TDA7294 has lower reliability IME.

I have a Cambridge Audio amp using a pair of these chips. Modded it to sound pretty good so, as ever with chipamps, implementation is king.
