Good day. I need if someone has information about the original crossovers of some AKAI SW177 speakers, as you will see in the photo, the capacitors are exploded, honestly, I don't know what they connected these speakers to. I was looking for some information on the internet, but I didn't find anything. Thank you very much

I think I can read the value 22uF on the plastic wrap of the exploded capacitor.
What value is stamped on the smaller, intact capacitor?
I can also see that, unusually, the inductors have their mH values stamped on them - perhaps you could list them?
You should check the level controls with an ohmmeter to make sure they have not been damaged by overload.

There is a service manual which includes a schematic diagram.
It is downloadable for $4.99: https://www.manual-buddy.com/p/akai/sw177-service-manual.html

Hi Galu, thank you, it may not be noticeable in the photo, but there are no intact capacitors, it is correct that it is seen in a 22uF package, only the value of the other 2 would be missing. I'm going to draw the circuit, maybe it will help and someone with more experience than me can suggest something.
If the caps exploded, could have been mains supply given to the speakers, or other too powerful supply..
Check all the elements, voice coils and so on also.
The inductors would possibly have had the insulation damaged on the coils, so please find out how to check those as well.

Yes, all the drivers are burned, they are being repaired in a specialized place

Well spotted Peet!
Thanks for taking the trouble to post the crossover schematic, and welcome to the forum. 😎

Very, very much. ThanksHello! My name is Peet, from Hungary. I hope I could help.
These are the speakers from my child hood. My passion for music was born with these.
Ever since the 70s it has been a dream of mine to one day own them. Dad gave away ours to the maid as an air force guy he had 30 transfers in 35 years of service and just got tired of moving them around.
I had looked like crazy for the cross over but only found it today.
In the process of trying to recreate these with a Eminence 15 Inch woofer and a 2002 compression driver.
It would be crazy of you could share the TS specs for the drivers.
Off to try the cross over in Xsim. This forum rocks.
