A question for Sound Technology ST1000A owners?

Hey all-

I've got a ST1000A but it's been forever since I used it. I need to fabricate a new 'detector probe' - does anyone know the ST recommended design? I have not found it.

I made this one yesterday from a drawing I found in an unrelated document - no joy. Thanks for any input you have!

You only need a detector probe if you have a low bandwidth scope. I haven't used one in decades.

That website has been dead for at least 15 years.

I believe there is a detector probe schematic in the manual.

Ok, here's the manual.

Well it seems I am wrong, none there, but you don't need it. @op If you must, your schematic is as good as any, but those capacitors seem to be chosen for MW. You need about 10pF for VHF/10.7MHz IF.

I've never used this without the probe, what would I use instead - just a regular 10x scope probe?

The detector probe above has 100k input impedance. I don't know why you're now worried about 10x probes.
