Argh. I see that this is being discussed multiple times...
Trying to delete multiple PMs, ticking what's good to go, but then there's no options appearing?
I'm on an old Mac, MacOS 10.15, Safari 15.6.1 FWIW

Ok I've got it: It is a Safari-problem. Firefox 106.0.2 show the footerbar with the mentioned options, Safari suppresses this.
I just tried it with a standard account and the 'leave' option asks if you want to accept or ignore further replies to that conversation.
The pm was removed so I would call that deleted.

I imagine it differently.
Leaving would be the same as unjoining. The conversation would exist, still associated with the other participant. The other participant would then be able to continue that conversation after inviting others to join it.

For over 20 years, I have been pruning my PMs because they were "limited". To 20, or 50, or 1MB-- if the box "filled up" you were stuck. Sometimes you could buy more space.
This reincarnation works different? There is not a quota? PMs are zero-value?
