In my setup it wasn't. As you can see, there wasn't any dampening on the tube itself. And the second one i have gotten, which i use in my custom board isn't microphonic (both are from diyaudiostore). Unless you tap them directly, which you really shouldn't practice. Now, i may have been lucky. In any case, you can dampen them in numerous ways, rubber/silicone on top of the tube, use rubber standoffs, heavy case, vibration isolated case, no vent holes on case etc.
