Quotes being edited

It is going to be a fun build. I have built myref gainclone in the past too. Though switched to commercial alternatives later, cause my wife did not appreciate my metalworking skills. This time around I will get a proper enclosure made. Still assessing whether I should do an integrated version with just a potentiometer and a mechanical input selection or build another LDR or differed preamp. If I use SMPS I think it will be noisier than linear supply (and not an ideal option for an integrated, all-in-one option) however not too sure.

I didn't post this? - not me!!

These were posted in the Wolverine Build Thread. Seems @Voxonline was able to edit a quote of @richbandit.

I searched for the text and it seems no one has posted that, it's original text. (Edit: confirmed in post #681 of that thread)

I've seen similar several times before. As the result of discussions about it, a member presses "Reply" but doesn't require the quote. While trying to remove it, the post box interface (in regular wysiwig mode) traps them inside the quote (it's not intuitive how to remove it) so they type inside the quote and leave it as is.

*Therefore I'd suggest a tune up of the post box.

(This was never a problem with the old forum software because the post box operated in tag mode where you could see the [quote] tags and remove them if needed. I use this mode currently but many aren't aware that it's available.)
