Western Driver/Receiver 3013 - C or 3015 - C (???)

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and was looking for a bit of advise re the driver in the attached photos.
I was gifted a homemade speaker unit from a musician friend who's uncle had built this himself some years ago.I'm assuming the model number is Western 3013 - C or 3015 - C but not sure as I can't seem to find any information on such models. Does anyone have any idea as to the details and what the actual model number is?

Many thanks

Good question, in this reference there's only a 30150-B receiver, but being British I guess yours could be the same with just a suffix change from B to C. No clue about details except what's listed in the Compendium (horn # used).
HI GM

Thanks for the reference material, that is most helpful.
I think this is the closest match but I've just noticed the slight typo in the header and body of the my post which was probably due auto spell corrected.
It should read Westrex Electric with it being English, and not Western Western Electric. I don't suppose there is reference material with regards to Westrex Electrical that you know of like the one you have so kindly supplied?

Many thanks

Hi Guys

After much deliberation, I have decided to sell the Westrex 30150.
However, being quite alien to this market, I was wandering if you could recommend the best place to sell this item and what in your opinion is a reasonable asking price?

Many thanks

That horn ( perhaps an old Vitavox multiCell ) could be worth quite a bit more than any non-working Westrex driver.

Can we see a picture of the horn from the front please ?

Selling?? Ebay to Asian buyers should maximize your return.

Also, ( if allowed these days on eBay ) you can always set a reserve price (at what ever value this driver has to you ) with a low-low opening price to attract some bidders ( hopefully ) into a bidding war .
- That type of sales strategy used to bring in pretty big dollars over the last couple decades (though I don't know about current best practice ).

🙂

Hello again

Sorry for the protracted thread, been organising a move of house.

I have since taken the receiver Western 30150-C and the horn out of the cabinet to test and take further photos.

The 30150 receiver is reading 16ohms which seems quite healthy, please see attached photos, and the horn is not a multicell and has no brand names that I can see, do you still think its a Vitavox.

I am still looking to sell / auction on ebay and any further info would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Neos
