I want to build myself a very cheap portable(kinda) but LOUD boombox. I don't mind not having batteries for now, I can add on later, it seems too complicated for me, unless someone can guide me all I need from aliexpress(only shipping i have available as I am asian).
I have already purchased an amplifier board,
This is the amp board
Preferences/priorities
BUDGET > LOUD > SIZE OF BOX > SQ.
I guess you can tell, budget is the most imp, and SQ its not that important, will be mostly playing off bluetooth on youtube/spotify any TOP 100 playlist probably!
How loud can this new SB Acoustics driver go? I was looking at the Fane 12" FR, but that seems out of reach for me for now.
Trying to avoid crossover parts, thats why thinking Full Range.
Is it possible to add two of them for higher SPL?
For comparison, I am trying to chase JBL party boxes sound!

Sensitivity is not bad:
For that, you will need pro gear that can take the abuse, but none of the pro gear will be full/wide range drivers, and they will need an XO.
Even the Fane 12" will not be able to do that, as a single unit.
Either lower your expectations of SPL levels, or use woofer + compression tweet.
PRV makes good drivers, and if we stay with SBA, their pro gear is under the name SBAudience.
They made a design available that should be ok for you, everything drawn up so you just follow the pictures.

- Sensitivity (2.83V/1m) 92 dB

Whats the max SPL these 8 inchers can produce? Can we somehow understand that?Sensitivity is not bad:
but at 40W power handling, it will certainly not go like a JBL party box.

And can I use 2 of them in a single enclosure?
JBL Party box is supposedly 105db (JBL 100 and 300)
I was thinking i could even make two separate enclosures and join them and power them as L&R. Maybe thatll help pull up the sensitivity and go louder!
The reason I am trying to design around these is because they are available in my country. The link you sent and many other options are not available.
