where are you located?
Currently located in Saint-Petersurg, Russia, next month will be in the EU and Israel : )
...how the test or whether they even work.
Thanks for the info, this is no good news, but I never heard about issues with Svetlana 300Bs reliability, nor had any, although over the time I had over 5 different Svetlana 300B sets from different series and eras,
Speaking of test results, here are the factory's papers for this pair:

The Terrapin MC transformer pair is new, and they are not available for lower price, actually the price is identical:

Those at a lower price are lower ratio version without shields,

Reflector 6N23P 75' SWGP Reflector Silver Shield tubes are not available anywhere near 75$ per tube, if you know where they are - please let me know, I would gladly buy a couple of dozens : )

Check the prices again:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr..._TitleDesc=0&_odkw=+6N23P+75+silver&_osacat=0

Some sellers on ebay are asking well over 700$ per NOS tested strong matched pair : )

https://www.ebay.com/itm/115278490270

While the lowest I was able to find is 250$ for a used, not matched and probably untested pair:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/134290432931

For 75$ per tube it may be Voskhod factory 75' or some others,

Anyway, as I've mentioned before - always open to reasonable offers : )

Correct! Low noise russian tubes often suffer of loosing original max Vkf and experience leakage after 30...50% of their life making them noisier . German or dutch tubes are much better .I know that because I have a few hundred of russian and german low noise tubes.
Some ev military grade don't exhinit leakage, but their thicker oxide layer leads to cathode temperature fluctuation which leads to excessive shot noise.
Besides wasn't it mandatory to specify the location in the profile for salesmen?
The only good thing with russian tubes is they have thicker glass which makes rare gases enter or leaving the tubes harder. You'll see more often the blue glow in the russian tubes than in old european ones, but good siemens e88cc or e288cc have really well matched triodes inside the tubes while the russian ones have up to 20% difference in electric parameters as NOS.
The usual ebay prices are 3...4 times higher than the usual true selling point.
You can't build anything for sale and have a profit let alone a client...if you pay 1000$ for one simple preamp components. It's just basic economics.
