Is there a reason this was never put to use? Could it have been re-packed for a move and sat till now? Was it repaired and repackaged by ARC themselves?
If it is a legit NOS VT100 the original tubes are worth half the asking price. This would be a steal. Audio Research builds top notch gear, when everyone bailed on tubes ARC stayed the course and advanced tube amp design.
