WONDERFUL ARTICLE, BUT, I'm sorry; I can't see anything about WWII (I have a framed WWII Victory Medal, in memory of my father) without the WWII Marching Song going through my head, to the tune of "Colonel Bogey's March."
Hitler! Has only just one ball!
Goering, has two; but they are small!
Himmler's, are rather simmler; but
Poor Old Goebbels has no balls--at all.

Interesting - afaik, the original version of that song was the one I knew as a child:
Hitler has only got one ball,
The other is in the Albert Hall,
His mother, the dirty bugger,
Chopped it off when Hitler was small.

BTW, the "Colonel Bogey" the march is named after is an imaginary opponent in golf, hence the later usage of "Bogey" as one over par in golf.
