I bought a Consonance M100D amplifier a few years ago. currently one of the output transformers is burned. I've contacted customer service by email, but no response. what should i do . Is it safe to replace the output transformer with another brand transformer? .

Sorry to hear about this misfortune. I can’t find the schematic for Consonance M100D online - please post it if you have it. That would help the folks that want to help. I saw a review by A Mr. Aaron Weiss of a Consonance M100 amplifier (see no reference to the D) and deduced it is a EL34 UL Push-Pull amp, with 12AX, 6SN7 front-end. I could not determine with certainty, but it appears it is self-biased. The circuits is likely close to an Eico HF87 design.
Are you certain the problem is with the output transformer? If so the toroidal transformers will limit what is available, and an OEM is best (if you could find it - it looks like the Opera Company is kaput.) Alternatively the Toroidy (of Poland) sells a good, reasonably-priced output transformer that will work well. It probably could be fitted in your existing cover, if you could unpot the bad transformer. It is also available in potted, nice-looking chromed version from Toroidy at higher price. If you replace the bad transformer with a different transformer (i.e. not an OEM) it is best to replace in a pair to keep them the same for tonal and operating characteristics. Additionally, there are manufacturers of similar toroidal oitput transformers in China, but I have not used them.
