PS 95!

New post wanted info about Dayton PS 95 3.5" driver for a horn application. I bought one to try in a small 3.5 foot Voigt homebuilt. Had B3N Hi Vi. They were from another project and they livened up in the transmission design.really open airy for puny speakers. Bass was of course not low but pretty accurate.top end was not there but cheap super tweeter would fill in with out any problems. Sorry back to the ps They are THE BANG FOR THE BUCK driver. Perfect for bedroom or small den. Inexpensive too. What more do you want. No phase issues x-overs cost and complications.

I had the Daytons for awhile. Never got to hear them due to another Diyer needed them. My top 5 Bang for the buck Fullrange Driver’s.

1.Mark Audio’s CHN-50. (Best bang for the buck driver’s for todays entry level diyer’s).
2. Mark Audio’s Alpair 6P (No longer Made).
3.Mark Audio’s Alpair 5.3 Generation v3.
4.FostexFF85WK’s.
5.Fostex FF105Wk’s.
6.Fostex FE126En (no longer made).

I wasn’t trying to Discourage or bash the dayton driver’s or change your post. Just letting you know my Top 6 drivers and maybe try the Mark Audio’s CHN 50’s? I enjoy them because they let the music flow with nothing drawing attention to it.😁. Good luck and enjoy your project.
