Power Supply +/-60v

That power supply looks similar to the ones I purchased on Amazon a while back for around $20-$25. Mine are -/+48V and work just fine powering a variety of different amplifier projects. Parts and build quality seems ok but the seller did tell me that they are rated for 500w peak power output not continuous(300w).

Thank you, really appreciate that you shared your experience. Help me to approach these with more confidence

Does the power supply have to be switched mode? ........

Yes! I do not think I can go as small form factor with another type. I am gunning for the smallest chassis I can implement
