Tweeter repair query Vifa diaphragm replacement

I've a couple of older Vifa D26Al tweeters here with damaged aluminium domes. If I replace with the silk domed diaphragms am I going to hear much if any difference?
Personally I'd be prepared to put up with the tweeters the way they are but I'm going to be gifting these to one of my kids so I'd prefer them to be cosmetically OK.
I already have spare silk dome diaphragms on the shelf but the aluminium domes seem to remain Unobtainium

How bad are your domes? Simply dented or crumpled beyond recognition? I have repaired bent aluminium domes with iphone sim ejector tool. It's made of some kind of metallic glass, very hard and stiff, so works great as a stylus.

First I restore the basic shape with my fingernails, then refine with the round end, and finally smooth the dent's edges with the point.

Unfortunately, I do not have photos or measurements at hand, but frequency response basically returns to that of original unmolested dome.
