I'm really interested but worried about cooling the beast ?
Can you guide me to a source of NC500 ? The Purifi are over the top for me budget side ...

Hello Chris.,

there is interrest but still here.
And yes it is the origenal project.

No cooling needed. Chasis plate is enough. Only the tubes getting hot but that is normal. I do not know any source for the nc500, but sometimes they are sold here or at ebay.
